Intracoastal Waterway.

This sound was captured at the intracoastal waterway under a bridge at the Jacksonville Beach Marina. The recording location is close to houses that were built very close to the waterway. As sea-levels rise these developments are becoming more at risk. According to the United Nations on climate change, in 2020, it was noted that sea levels are rising faster than before. Jacksonville was referenced in the study as one of the places that in 30 years, 100 year floods, could become much more common. Why would this happen? The seas used to rise 1 inch every 10 years but now they are rising 1 inch every year. (First Coast News).
